How to make the DS9208 scanner produce the TabKey between fields?

I need to populate a WinForm from a DS9208 scanner emulating a HID on a USB connection. The Form has several single-line fields and the tabkey character (0x09) read from the scanner does not move the cursor to the next field and I cannot modify the WinForm program. I need the scanner really work as a keyboard and send the proper sequence to the WinForm application to move to the next field. Thanks
